Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address

• Securely hashed password

• Optional:

  • Profile photo

  • Display name

Recovery Data

We store the following to power core app features:

• Sobriety start date(s) and addiction types

• Estimated daily spend (to calculate money saved)

• Reset history (dates + optional notes)

• Milestone progress

• Trigger log entries

• Journal entries and workbook responses

• Daily mood check-ins

• Habit tracker data and completion history

• Support contact names and phone numbers

• Personal motivation (“My Why”)

• Saved quotes and affirmations

Community Data

If you use community features, we store:

• Posts, comments, and reactions

• Photos attached to posts (stored securely in the cloud)

• Group memberships and join requests

• Content reports submitted

Anonymity Details:

• Activity appears under a randomly generated alias (e.g. “Brave47”)

• Alias is derived from your user ID using a one-way hash

• Your real name and email are never shown

• Profile photo is optional in community spaces

Usage Information

• No third-party analytics SDKs are used

• Limited diagnostics may be processed for:

  • Reliability

  • Security

  • Bug fixing

How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to:

• Provide and personalise your experience

• Sync data across devices

• Display anonymous activity in community features

• Review reported content

• Send transactional emails (e.g. password resets)

• Improve app performance and stability

We do NOT:

• Sell your data

• Rent your data

• Share your data with advertisers or data brokers

Community & Anonymity

• All posts and comments appear under your anonymous alias

• Your identity is not revealed to other users

• Data may be disclosed if required by law or for safety reasons

• Strict access controls ensure:

  • You can only access your own data

• Profile photos → private by default

• Community post images → visible within the app

• No system is 100% secure

• We cannot guarantee:

  • Permanent data retention

Data Stored on Your Device

We store minimal local data for performance:

• Theme preference (light / dark / system)

• Onboarding completion status

• Currency preference

This data is cleared when:

• You delete the app

• You sign out
