Acceptance of Terms

• By downloading, installing, or using Sobria, you agree to these Terms of Use.

• If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

• These terms apply to:

  • Premium subscribers

• Sobria is:

  • A personal tracking tool

  • A support companion

• Sobria is not:

  • A clinical service

Important:

  • Withdrawal

  • Mental health

  • Any medical condition

• In emergencies:

  • Contact local emergency services immediately

• Do not delay medical advice based on app content

User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

• By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement

Your responsibilities:

• Keep login credentials secure

• You are responsible for all activity on your account

If compromised:

• Report unauthorised access via in-app support immediately

Community & User Content

• Sobria includes:

  • Community feed

  • Group spaces

• Users may post:

  • Messages

  • Comments

  • Images (“User Content”)

Anonymity:

• All activity is anonymous

• Your real identity is never displayed

Prohibited Content

You must not post content that:

• Promotes or encourages:

  • Drug use

  • Excessive alcohol consumption

  • Self-harm

• Is:

  • Threatening

  • Abusive

  • Harassing

  • Defamatory

  • Hateful

• Contains:

  • Sexually explicit material

  • Graphic violence

• Impersonates any person or entity

• Spreads medical misinformation

• Solicits personal information from others

• Promotes third-party products/services without consent

• Violates any law or regulation

Content Moderation

• We may remove content:

  • That violates these terms

  • Or is deemed harmful

• This may occur:

  • At our sole discretion

  • Without prior notice

Enforcement:

• Users can report content in-app

• Repeated violations may lead to:

  • Account suspension

  • Account termination

Your Licence to Us

• By submitting content, you grant Sobria:

  • A non-exclusive

  • Worldwide

  • Royalty-free licence

This allows us to:

• Store content

• Display content

• Distribute content within the app

Important:

• You retain ownership of your content

• You may delete your content at any time

Premium Subscriptions

• Some features require a paid Premium subscription

Billing:

• Processed via:

  • App store

  • Payment provider used at purchase

• Governed by:

  • Platform billing terms

  • Subscription details shown at purchase

Changes:

• We may adjust:

  • Pricing

  • Features

• Existing users are not affected mid-billing cycle

Lifetime Purchases

• “Lifetime” means:

  • Access for the lifetime of the app/service

  • Not your personal lifetime

We may:

• Modify or remove features

• Suspend or shut down the app

We are not responsible for:

• Refunds

• Compensation

• Credits

• Damages
  (resulting from changes beyond our control, unless required by law)

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access systems without authorisation

• Use bots or scraping tools

• Reverse-engineer or decompile the app

• Disrupt or damage app functionality

• Create multiple accounts to bypass bans

Intellectual Property

• All non-user content belongs to Sobria, including:

  • Design

  • Branding

  • Graphics

  • Text

  • Code

You may not:

• Copy

• Distribute

• Modify

• Create derivative works
  without written permission

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

General Disclaimer

• The app is provided:

  • “As is”

  • “As available”

• No guarantees of:

  • Uptime

  • Accuracy

  • Error-free performance

  • Security

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Sobria is not liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

Including but not limited to:

• Data loss

• Downtime

• Bugs

• Security issues

• Billing failures

• Third-party failures

Liability Cap

• If liability applies, it is limited to the greater of:

  • Amount paid in the last 12 months

  • USD $50

Service Availability & Changes

• We may:

  • Add features

  • Remove features

  • Restrict access

  • Modify functionality

• We may suspend or discontinue the app:

  • Temporarily or permanently

  • With or without notice

We are not responsible for losses caused by:

• Maintenance

• Updates

• Outages

• Infrastructure failures

• Legal requirements

• Events beyond our control

Account Termination

• You may delete your account anytime:

  • Settings → Delete Account

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Security concerns

  • Legal compliance

  • Abuse prevention

After termination:

Severability & Entire Agreement
